Summer In The City New Orleans Style July 25-27

DSC_0086From Thursday July 25th through Saturday July 27th, Greensburg will be combining the TGIS concert series and the SummerSounds concert series with three days of downtown fun, New Orleans Style.  Throughout the streets of downtown Greensburg, shops, restaurants, and parking lots will be open for shopping, eating, arts, crafts, music, and more, so bring the family out for a weekend of summer fun throughout the streets of downtown Greensburg. “Summer in the City” is a downtown festival in Greensburg PA. The event has been around for many years and has offered the Greensburg community a chance to meet others, participate in fun activities, and explore the local businesses that keep Greensburg alive! Through events like this, Greensburg continues to grow into a social and cultural hub with a strong sense of community.

On Thursday July 25th, many merchants throughout the cities downtown district will be hosting an open house.

Merchants that will be open from 5pm-8pm are Artisans of Hand & Heart, Bella Boutique, Crossroads, Descendants, Golf for Her, Herbs to Your Health, Never Enough (5pm-7pm), Otterbein Church, The Cupcake Shoppe.  Several merchants will be open from 5pm-10pm.  These merchants are Art-Tech, Katwalk, First Lutheran Church, Lapels, Penelope’s, Zion Lutheran Church.

American Adventure Store will be open from 5pm-10pm as well, and will have an open Climbing Wall for visitors while DV8 Espresso Bar & Gallery will be holding an open mic from 7pm-10pm.
